About Arborio Rice 

Arborio rice is short, fat and has a slightly oval shape with a pearly white exterior. It has a high starch content. Cooking releases this starch which retains a firmer, chewier and creamier rice. It’s a type of short-grain rice to medium-grain rice cultivated originally in Italy. It’s mostly used in risotto. 

It's perfect for making creamy, mouthwatering risotto dishes. It also compliments well with soups, stews or salads. This rice is rich in protein and fibre.
