Epsom salt known as  magnesium sulphate has a crystalline structure similar to that of common table salt. It is a naturally occurring compound that contains sulphur,magnesium and oxygen. It tastes bitter unlike table salt and is not suitable for cooking but it works as  a natural remedy for relieving muscle pain,inflammation and constipation.This salt is most commonly used by athletes. 

When dissolved in water the magnesium within the compound regulates numerous essential bodily functions,including blood pressure and inflammation,muscle and nerve function.  Moreover, magnesium ion is easily absorbed through skin making it an ideal addition to your long bath for relaxation after a hard day.
