About Short Grain Brown Rice
Short grain brown rice is shorter, rounder and starchier than regular rice. When cooked the grain adopts a fluffier appearance and clings together. This rice compliments curries, stir fries and lentils. However, it also can be used to make sweet desserts like puddings. It generally takes longer to cook than white as the husk is still in place however, this means that it contains more fibre than white rice.
