About Jasmine White Rice
Jasmine rice is a variety of long grain-rice cultivated in Thailand and named after the beautiful aromatic jasmine flower. This rice has a firm texture and has a unique smell of sweet florals. However, the firm texture of jasmine rice changes after being cooked, becoming soft, sticky, and full of flavour. This makes it perfect for making rice dishes, especially Thai food such as pad thai and fried rice.
It’s full of antioxidants, vitamin B, fibre, protein and rich in folic acid.
