How to Make Vegan Almond Flour Pizza Crust

Prep Time: 5 mins

Cook Time: 25 mins

Total Time: 30 mins

Servings: Medium Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 1 cups almond flour
  • ¼ cup quinoa flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon psyllium husk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup water
  • Any toppings your heart desires

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 400°F:
  • Start by heating your oven to 400°F. While the oven is warming up, line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and set it aside.
Prepare the dry ingredients:
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flours, salt, and psyllium husk until well combined.
Mix the dough:
  • Add the oil and water to the dry ingredients, and mix thoroughly until a dough forms. The dough should come together smoothly.
Shape the dough:
  • Transfer the dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Shape it into a flat disc, roughly ¼-inch thick.
Bake the crust:
  • Place the baking sheet on the center rack of your oven and bake the dough for 10 minutes, or until the crust turns a golden brown.
Add sauce and toppings:
  • Remove the partially baked crust from the oven. Spread your favorite sauce over the top and add your desired toppings. Return the pizza to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the toppings are cooked and the edges of the crust are crispy.
  • Once done, allow the pizza to cool slightly before slicing it into pieces. Serve and enjoy!
