Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 15-20 minutes (baking time may vary)
Servings: Approximately 30-40 crackers
Ingredients:
- 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika(optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper for a bit of heat(optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine gluten-free all-purpose flour, almond flour, ground flaxseed, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Add olive oil and water to the dry ingredients. Mix well until a dough forms. If the dough seems too dry, you can add a bit more water (one tablespoon at a time).
- Add smoked paprika, or cayenne pepper for extra flavour. Mix evenly.
- Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out to your desired thickness. (Thinner crackers will be crispier).
- Use a sharp knife or a pizza cutter to cut the rolled-out dough into square or rectangular shapes.
- Carefully transfer the cut crackers to the prepared baking sheet, leaving a bit of space between each.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let the crackers cool on the baking sheet. They will continue to firm up as they cool.
- Once cooled, break them apart along the cut lines.
- Serve these gluten-free seed crackers with your favourite dips, and cheeses, or enjoy them on their own!
Storage tip: Store the crackers in an airtight container once cooled to maintain their crispness.
